Careers From A-Z came about as a result from teaching and mentoring children through the Arts and Social Emotional Learning. I eventually would ask each child if they knew what they wanted to be when they grew up? Many of them did not know! This reality was a discouraging one, but I knew that this was a topic of discussion that needed to be put in the forefront, and get into schools throughout the country, but most importantly is get this book in the hands of every child and target expectant Mom’s!

I admonish every parent to begin to read this book to their children, “From the womb, to resume after the delivery room and beyond”; and to ignite every child’s imagination to dream and ultimately build self-esteem.

It is never too early to expose children to careers and aspirations for their future! When they begin to talk, and while they’re learning their ABCs, Careers From A-Z is the perfect book to accompany that learning process and jumpstart a vocabulary describing aspiring careers. Since words have power, this can be an exciting time to introduce all children to a future of endless possibilities.
